Active Service Solutions Ltd were appointed to design and deliver a new 1550 sq ft salon for the Hair OTT group. With the successful smaller 1098 sq ft salon currently in operation on the same site our client was looking to double their workstation capacity whilst still providing the same environment and feel.
Knowing our clients company moto “it’s not just a haircut” and their desire to make their clients feel good about themselves whilst having their fantastic haircut in a relaxing environment, we set about designing a new salon that would deliver that true Hair Ott experience.
As with all of our projects we know how important it is for our clients to make sure we understand what they are trying to achieve, we start by undertaking a full face to face client meeting to understand their requirements, obviously input from ourselves, drawing on previous fitout experiences is always welcomed by our clients but we know the most important thing is for us to listen to truly get an understanding of what they need from us.
We then felt a visit to their current salon would be very beneficial to take in the experience and environment being provided before undertaking a full site visit to the new unit where measurements are taken so enable us to provide design drawings and proposals.
To remove all unwanted partition walls, before building a new dispensary and separate staff area, the main salon is to have sixteen cutting stations, six drying station and six wash stations, new LED lighting, full decorations, and the installation a salon master hot water system.
